“Big things often have small beginnings” – Anonymous

Sitting on my bed, watching youtube. It’s already been over 8 weeks into the lockdown and yet the situation never seems to be getting better- and I just can’t see the silver lining. It was the usual monotonous and dull day with starts with me waking up late and getting ready. Completed my morning routine and focused on revising some topics for upcoming progression prior to the lockdown (which seems rather endless!!). A normal RDBS lunch. For those who do not know me its basically the boring and extremely basic and healthy food which most Indians thrive on;)

These are gujrati words for vegatables and rice along with our famous lentils! Played the ultimate team card game with my parents and annoying twin(who I love very much). We had the best time with the end score as 3-2 and of coarse my mother and I won. #mother-daughtergoals.

The covid scare really is increasing with hundreds of cases in the district rising daily. A single person sneezing or coughing is immediately self quarantined. It seems really overwhelming sometimes. Like just yesterday my mother saw me sneeze (because I smelled pepper- though she did not know) and went a little crazy. She stuffed the ” honitus ” tasteless syrup down my throat and handed me a immunity booster smoothie – a mixture of hot water, honey, turmeric, cinnamon and garlic. And if it couldn’t get any worse there was also ginger. I know it tastes as gross as it sounds- I have no idea how health freaks chug these drinks down their oesophaegus !!!

Overall the week has been pleasant. Fingers crossed- hoping for some excitement! UwU

TASK

Summarize your week in one word or a short phrase, and tell me why in the comments below! For me it would be “All good things must come to an end for better things to come,” this is because my very loving phone which already had terrifying cracks on the screen completely broke. When my parents took it to the store they couldn’t fix it so I was pretty sad BUT my parents got me a new phone!!! YAY! I am curious to know what all you guys have experienced, do feel free to pen it down and share it with me.

  2. So wonderful to read your thoughts Serena. Initially I was complaining a lot about the lockdown and not happy that we couldn’t meet friends or family but then I changed the way I was thinking. I decided that I wanted to be happy during this lockdown and thought of ways of how I was going to accomplish that. I decided to use all the extra time I had to do something new. Learn something new! I found a yoga course half way across the world which I really wanted to do. If it had not been for the lockdown they would never had an online class which I could opt for. I enjoyed the 21 day lesson so much that I joined the next 21 day course. I was super happy and now I can enjoy my yoga even though the teacher is is in a timezone 12 hours ahead of us.
Let me know if you find something that makes you Happy in this strange times. ❀️

    1. This is the time to accomplish and try the things we have never done. Definitely in upcoming posts I will express my experiences during the lockdown. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed my post. ❀ During these times we should work on enhancing one’s creativity and interest. As french has been my 3rd language in the last few years, and I always wanted to learn spanish, I decided to take this time and work on that skill. Using various apps I managed to start learning the basics of spanish. Learning and accomplishing things we have never done ever really makes me happy. It’s so thrilling to know that you have enjoyed yoga. Thank you so much again for reading and commenting on my post❀❀❀

  3. I’d say my week was β€œgetting used to” because there was recently a loss in my family and we are all slowly adjusting to it. It has been tough, but I’m sure things will get better πŸ™‚ Happy Weekend!!

    1. Life has it’s own advantages and disadvantages- life in itself is an advantage though all living souls have to go through a time where they lose one another- that’s the worst disadvantage. I promise you that everything will be okay it just takes a little time and my condolences. Am very sorry. Have a good weekend and stay safe Nehal!!!πŸ˜‹πŸ˜˜

    1. Thank you so much. New blogs and pieces are still in progress and should be out in a day or two. 😁. During the lockdown everybody has so much free time and I always enjoy trying new things- this blog is such a fun venture so far. All people take this time into doing something and I am so happy to hear that you are practicing your culinary skills. My sister also- during this time has become so creative and is trying out so many scrumptious dishes. Thank so much again, for your kind words of encouragement and support. Stay home and stay safe. ❀
